2025 Huxtable Farm and North Devon & Exmoor Events Calendar
Spring on the Farm
If the hens decide to go broody during March we will endeavour to have some chicks hatching around Easter and our small flock of Jacob ewes are due to lamb during April.
This is a beautiful time of year, when the snowdrops are out followed by sunshine, yellow daffodils and primroses. The birds are busy preparing their nests and deer, both roe and Exmoor red can be seen grazing in the woodland. Mid February the pond comes alive with frogs and toads returning to spawn in the pond.
