HUXTABLE FARM CAMPING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING.
PROVISIONAL BOOKING REQUEST; To make a provisional booking please telephone/email to check availability and provisionally book your accommodation.

Please note minimum of two night camping bookings are accepted.
TO CONFIRM A BOOKING; To confirm a camping booking a deposit of £50 is required, along with the names, ages, e-mail address, vehicle registration number, home & mobile telephone numbers. We accept cheques, credit and debit cards, PayPal and BACS payments.
Either confirm over the telephone using your credit/debit card or send a cheque made payable to ‘HUXTABLE FARM’ to ‘Huxtable Farm, West Buckland, Barnstaple, Devon EX32 0SR’. To pay by PayPal or Credit card via PayPal’s secure payment website please e-mail to let me know with your address/contact details so that I can issue you an invoice.
To pay by BACS please contact me to let me know so that I can give you Huxtable Farm’s bank details.
When we receive your deposit and personal details we will respond in writing confirming the booking.
When you make your booking and we have received the required deposit to secure the booking, a legally binding contract exists between us that is non-cancellable and non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances, please read our cancellation policy below.
PRICES; The price of camping, includes a pitch for your tent, use of a private bathroom and the shared communal rooms; washing up area with fridge & freezer and the games/shop room.
PETS; Sorry, we do not allow pets at this property, except well behaved dogs at the price stated. Dogs must be kept on the lead at all times and not left unattended. Breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted.
ACCEPTANCE OF CHILDREN; We welcome children of all ages. Children should be supervised at all times as the site is based on a working farm.
VEHICLES; are not permitted on the pitch but can be parked next to the pitch.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND INSURANCE; When you make your booking and we have received the required deposit to secure the booking, a legally binding contract exists between us that is non-cancellable and non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances, you may still remain liable to pay in full or part of the booking, even where you have not paid in full at the time of cancellation.
Please note that your deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. In the event of a cancellation, both parties should endeavour to re-let the accommodation and if successful we will make a refund of the monies paid less the deposit. Should neither party succeed, then the person making the reservation is legally liable to pay two thirds of the total value of the booking. We would recommend that you take out cancellation insurance to cover this cost.
NON-AVAILABILITY OF PITCH; We would only cancel your pitch if your pitch and or bathroom were unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
ARRIVAL; Your pitch will be available to you from 3pm on the day of arrival, please advise us if you intend to arrive after 6pm or if you wish to check in before 3pm.
LATE ARRIVAL PROCEDURE; Please ensure you contact us no later than 6pm to let us know if you will be arriving late.
DEPARTURE; You are requested to vacate your pitch by 11am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. We will provide you with an invoice, payable on departure for any additional services you may have used during your stay.
DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES; Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible for the cost of any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. All we ask is that you report any incidents as they occur and leave the bathroom and communal rooms in a clean and tidy condition. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. No rebates will be given for mechanical failure of any kind however every effort will be made to repair anything not working. Any issues with Huxtable Farm accommodation must be raised with Jackie and Antony prior to your departure as errors or omissions cannot be rectified after your departure. When booking you are agreeing with these terms and conditions.
LIABILITY; We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
PRIVACY POLICY ; Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer. With your permission we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers. If you prefer not to be contacted please let us know and we will remove you from our mailing list. We will not share your details with any third party. Huxtable Farm’s website contains links to other sites, please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites and encourage you to read the privacy statements of websites that collect personally identifiable information. Huxtable Farm’s website does not use cookies to track your personal information; however we do use Google Analytics to monitor traffic levels to Huxtable Farm’s website.
