The 80 acres (42 hectares) at Huxtable Farm has a variety of habitats; woodland, pasture, hedgerows, pond, stream, a steep bracken covered slope, small orchard and fruit garden.
Huxtable Farm achieved Devon Wildlife Trust Approval -GOLD Award for a number of years and continues to manage the land to encourage wildlife, despite the Devon Wildlife Trust no longer running this wildlife approval scheme.
